Baptism is simply a symbolic act. The outward and visible symbol is baptism. The inward and invisible reality is a person's genuine relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior. If you have been saved and are currently in a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ, we would highly encourage you to consider being baptized.
