OUR MISSIONS FOCUS

Through Reciprocal Ministries International (RMI), we have partnered with the church in Desriveaux, Haiti since 2013. They are a part of the Evangelical Baptist Mission of Southern Haiti (MEBSH). We have chosen to partner with the Desriveaux Church based on the facts that those of us who have a relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior are all members of His worldwide family and are all on our way to living forever with Him (cf. Col. 3:12-17), and that we have been called to reach out to every person on earth and invite them into His love and wonderful plan of salvation. We cannot do this alone; together we are more effective than we would have been on our own.

Relationships are the thread that comprise the tapestry of our lives. There are many important relationships in our lives, but one that is not always available to US Christians is an in-depth relationship with another culture. Acts 1:8 reminds us of how important this is to Jesus and to us who follow Him. Through our partnership with RMI and the Desriveaux Church, we now have this opportunity.
OUR MOST RECENT TEAM
We have had a little bit of a curve ball thrown our way, this year. Instead of going all the way up to Desriveaux, Haiti, our team spent the majority of our time near the RMI base and with our new "step-sister church", Cote de Fer Baptist Church on the south coast of Haiti, about 50 miles east of Les Cayes.
Our 9 day mission trip focused on supporting our "step-sister church", also with the Evangelical Baptist Mission of Southern Haiti (MEBSH), with Bible teaching, men's and women's ministry, children and youth ministry, and bringing news of what God is doing in the States at Walloon Lake Community Church and at East Jordan Community Church.
While God opened up a door for us to develop a greater heart of compassion for His people around the world, the exciting part is that you are also able to share in this compassion in several ways. First, you can help pray for our sister churches. They need your prayers that God will use them and bless them as they minister to the people of Haiti.

HOPE FOR KIDZ

Hope For Kidz is a child sponsorship program founded by Reciprocal Ministries International (RMI) to meet the educational and physical needs of Haitian children. RMI partners with schools that are part of the Evangelical Baptist Mission of Southern Haiti (MEBSH). MEBSH schools typically cover grades K-9. Children are chosen for sponsorship based on financial need.
