We are excited to provide a fun youth program for kids in 6th-12th grade. We meet every Sunday evening, September thru April. , from 6-8 pm at the East Jordan Community Church campus building. (We are no longer at the Depot.)
Each night consists of four components: an ice-breaker activity, a short lesson, music/worship time, small group discussions, and a game at the end of the night.
The lessons are typically 3-part series on various topics that are timely for today's youth and based on Christ's Word. Scriptural support is definitely a part of each lesson as is engaged discussion throughout.
After the lesson, the youth split into small groups. Each small group has an adult that facilitates discussion with prepared questions that relate back to the lesson that was just delivered.
The ice-breaker and the game at the end of the night are to bring the kids together to have some fun and interact with each other to build friendships as brothers and sisters in Christ.
The Depot is an independent youth outreach ministry working in cooperation with area churches, including EJCC, and individuals of like faith who support its purpose.
We partner with The Depot so that teens will have a safe place to be, where they will have their physical needs met and encounter Christ-like love in a fun, caring atmosphere.
